While the specifics of what we recommend vary project to project, most online marketing analyses involve the following steps:

  • Keyword analysis: we research terms commonly used by potential clients, identify competition levels and opportunities. The results of this analysis will be used while developing site architecture, content, and other factors affecting search engine rankings such as internal link structure and title tags.
  • Competition analysis: we break down your online and offline competitors' websites and derive insights on how they rank, how they position themselves in the search engines, and how they convert visitors to their website into leads. We then take into account what they do well and work to exploit what they do not.
  • Action Items: we produce a guide on things that you can do to help your position in the search engines. Search engine optimization is in the details and some of those details require time but not expertise. Of course if you find yourself short on time we can work through the list on your behalf.
  • Online Ad Analysis: we will analyze relevant keywords for your business using the major paid ad and pay-per-click (PPC) platforms such as Google AdWords and provide our opinion on whether or not an online paid ad campaign makes sense to your business. If it does, we will provide our recommendations for a starter campaign.
